General Note: Administrative Assistant for the Vietnam Project Participant Training Program Elsie Cunningham corresponds with other faculty related to the program from July to October, 1958 to arrange the training of four police leadership participants, Tran Ba Thanh, Le Cang Dam, Nguyen Van Hay, and Tran Van Huong. The bulk of her conversation is with Gilbert Shelby, Danial Van Buskirk, and Adolphe Bonnefil, who accompany the participants. They discuss ticket and travel arrangements, difficulties the participants are encountering, sickness claims, training courses and arrangements, funding of participants and faculty, arrangements for the second group of participants, and the participants' general reaction to the trip.
