Audio letter by Catherine L. Oatman who served 3 tours (March 1969 - May 1973) in Long Binh and Saigon, Republic of Vietnam. ;

"In it's original form, the 90-minute cassette tape was an electronic letter home from a war-torn Vietnam where life was an exhaustible commodity. Recorded largely under rocket attack by an enlisted woman who did 3 years and, at taping stationed at Longbinh. You can hear the incoming rounds as they peirce the night with that THUD...all too familiar to those who served.

While edited only for time, no effort whatsoever has been made to edit or enhance the content in order to insure the archival accuracy of this product. It is hoped that this CD may be used as a tool for understanding the pressures and pain of a war that affected so many, many lives.
