General Note
Triangluar Viet Cong Pennant. The flag is half red and half blue with a yellow star in the center. Two of the edges have a one inch multi colored fringe. The pennant has been sewn onto a regangular piece of heavy cloth. On one corner of the cloth is a paper letter.

It is a pleasure and honor for me to present you with an anthentic VIET CONG flag. The flag was captured from a VC unit, lately in the vicinity of Soc Trang by Vietnamese ground combat troops.

Please consider this flat as a token of frendship and evidence of a common enemy.
