General Note
Side A: Sandra begins by recording sounds of her playing with the baby. Then she recorded messages from both of their parents to Elza (her husband). They commented that he missed bird-hunting season and that he should quit smoking citing several neighbors that recently got cancer and died from cigarettes. She described how the baby has grown and changed in the last couple months. She also commented that she was saving money for their trip to Hawaii for his R&R.

Side B: She says that she likes Pampers very much but are very expensive. After that she sings a lullaby to her baby. She says that she relies on memories of their time together before he was drafted to pass the time while they were apart. Also visiting 'couple friends' and reading more to pass the time. She addresses birth control issues for their visit over R&R and will discuss it with her doctor about various methods. Sandy says that she wants to start exchanging more tapes because the baby is sleeping more and allowing her to have more free time. She concludes by telling Elza that she loves him and misses him very much.
