Side A This is an audio letter from Sandra to Elza Miller. She starts the tape with a lullaby that she wrote for their baby. She says that she just got back from R&R with Elza and had a wonderful time. She is conflicted somewhat about placing Elza above the baby for now but reconciles that they will not love the baby any less. She tells Elza that she is going to meet him at the airport with his parents because they have helped her out so much since he has been gone. Some of her friends are meeting their husbands alone since they have not had as much help from their in-laws. Side B This is an audio letter from Sandra Miller to Elza Miller. She says that she just got back from R&R with Elza and had a wonderful time. She says that she had the baby's picture made and got the smallest package of photos and the photographer threw a tantrum, which she thought was funny. She and several other women are making packages to send to soldiers for Christmas. She is looking forward to Elza getting home soon (he only has a short time left). She has been collecting information on sexual fulfillment and technique from magazines and her doctor in anticipation of Elza coming home. She concludes by telling Elza that she loves him very much and that he means a lot to her.
