General Note
The DVD is a documentary of events in Vietnam between 1968 and 1975 by Tom Marshall. The documentary starts with an introduction by Tom Marshall, who presents the general overview of the whole documentary and talks about what parts of the Vietnam War it will include. The footage depicts several fire bases and areas of operation including Rockpile, Ripcord, Dewey Canyon, Quang Tri Airfield, and Hamburger Hill (Ap Bia). The latter is covered by news analyst Eric Sevareid. There are several aerial shots from the Battle of Khe Sanh, along with excerpts from a Department of Defense film. The footage also includes interviews with Richard Johnson, Harold Smith, and Dennis Fujii, along with the news coverage of the Vietnam War featuring Walter Cronkite (CBS), Bob Clark and Richard Threlkeld (ABC), as well as news coverage by NBC.
