The museum object is a 56th Transportation Recovery (The Vultures) plaque. The plaque is black, with a red insignia. There is a black vulture on the insignia, holding a helicopter in one claw, and a stick with the name - Vietnam in the other claw.

The insignia has the following writings: THE VULTURES, YOU CRASH AND CALL: CH 37 B, WE DASH AND HAUL: 004 659 658; 56 TRANS RECOVERY.
