General Note
The five dong bill is a shade of red. It has a “5” on each corner and one at the center right side on the front. The left side depicts a man plowing a field with a water buffalo. There is the text “Ngan-Hang Quoc-Gia Viet-Nam” printed at the top and “Nam Dong” in front of the central “5”. The back depicts a “5” in each corner with similar text. The majority is taken up by the print of a hut next to a body of water surrounded by foliage.
