General Note
The five dong bill is a shade of green. It has a “5” on each corner on the front and back. The front depicts a flying bird and has the text “Ngan-Hang Quoc-Gia” and “Viet-Nam” printed at the top and “Nam Dong” on the front right side. Behind the last-mentioned text is a Chinese dragon. On the back the same text is present. The rear is mainly taken up by a print of a man plowing with a water buffalo.
