General Note
The 1000 Won, Korean Currency, is a heavily damaged bank note that measures four inches in length by three inches in width. The color is dominantly an off-white with teal blue borders and print. On the front right, “1000,” an image of Yi Hwang, and several Korean letters. In red, “(148)” is printed twice. Also in red is another Korean symbol in a circle. On the back, “1000 WON” is boldly printed in the center. At the top, “THE BANK OF KOREA.” is printed.
