(00:43) William Crawford Woods is the author of The Killing Zone and reads an excerpt from one of his works in progress, a conversation between a civilian contract agent and a member of his team. ;
(4:56) Next is Chuck Wachtel, author of Joe the Engineer a novel from which he reads an excerpt. ;
(11:43) Next, Smith Hempstone, the author of A Tract of Time, compares various wars and the media’s response to them. ;
(14:17) Veteran and author of Tiger The Lurp Dog, Kenn Miller, a LRRP team leader, discusses the relationship between war and atrocities. Stephen Wright joins in, giving his opinion on DelVecchio’s earlier remarks about altruism in the Vietnam War. ; (19:08) Next, Vietnam veteran Joseph Ferrandino reads an excerpt from his work in progress, which would later become Firefight. ;

(00:00) On Side B, the panel continues, beginning with remarks from Kenn Miller, and a discussion about the cognitive dissonance created in Americans due to the Vietnam War. ;
(5:54) Next is a reading of an excerpt of Meditations in Green by Stephen Wright, which extends for the remainder of the recording. ;
