Tape Number 1, Side A - This audiotape consists of a 1st Marine Aircraft Wing taped historical interview conducted by Corporal Norman R. Carlson, United States Marine Corps with Major Carl Bergstrom, United States Marine Corps. The interview takes place in Chu Lai, Republic of Vietnam on 11 March 1968. The subject is support of helicopter resupply to Khe Sanh complex from 24 Feb 1968 to 11 March 1968. Major Bergstrom describes his problems and necessities during various resupply missions. Major Bergstrom describes the role the weather had in respect to successful drops.

Tape Number 1, Side B - This audiotape consists of an interview conducted by Lance Corporal Norman R. Carlson with Lieutenant Colonel William H. Fitch. The interview takes place in Chu Lai, Republic of Vietnam on 21 February 1968. The subject of the interview was a Rolling Thunder mission on 21 February 1968.

Tape Number 2, Side A - This audiotape consists of a 1st Marine Aircraft Wing taped historical interview conducted by Corporal Norman R. Carlson, United States Marine Corps with 1st Lieutenant B. Buckland, United States Marine Corps. Lieutenant Buckland was a pilot and schedules officer attached to VMA 232 MAG 11. The interview takes place in, Da Nang airbase Republic of Vietnam on 8 March 1968. The subject is a Rolling Thunder mission on 23 Feb 1968. Lieutenant Buckland describes the mission code named Machete. Lieutenant Buckland explains the problems and actions taken during the mission.

Tape Number 2, Side B - Interviewee: Major Frank C. Regan, pilot and maintenance officer, U.S. Marine Corps Interviewer: Corporal Norman R. Carlson Location: Chu Lai, Republic of Vietnam Date: March 12, 1968 Subject: Close air support mission, in Khe Sanh area, occurring on February 8, 1968. Classification: Confidential until downgraded by higher authority. Scheduled on February 8, 1968, for mission 133. Men were briefed on weather conditions. The technical aspects are described. Regan tells about mission 133.

Tape Number 3, Side A - This audiotape consists of a 1st Marine Aircraft Wing taped historical interview conducted by Corporal Norman R. Carlson, United States Marine Corps, with Major James Lumsden, United States Marine Corps. Major Lumsden was a pilot and flight officer attached to HMM 11 MAG 11. The interview takes place in Da Nang airbase, Republic of Vietnam on 8 March 1968. The subject is support given to op land 3-68 on 24 February 1968. Major Lumsden describes the resupply of hill 881 south. He continues to describe the weather and strategy involved with the mission. He also describes how the plan was executed.
