Description
This operation followed SAM HOUSTON with the 1st Brigade patrolling from Duc Co to the Plei D'Jereng Special Forces Camp and the 2d patrolling south toward the Ia Drang Valley. The operation included eight major military engagements, during which the PAVN often attacked and then were forced to retreat due to USA artillery and air strikes.
