Scope and Contents
10 reel-to-reel audio tapes contain the audio diary of an unknown American soldier in Vietnam. Notes on the tape boxes indicate they were made in 1971. There is also a typed index with brief notes on the contents/location for each tape. This collection also includes one 8mm film of a family at First Communion (no date and no audio).

[NOTE: These items were obtained by Mr. Kemink when he purchased a Sony TC530 reel-to-reel recorder/player at a thrift store in New Braunfels, Texas, and these audio tapes, tape index and 8mm film came with it. According to the index the soldier was based at Marble Mountain/DaNang, but his name is not on the tape cases or index and remains unknown.]
