Scope and Contents
Two artifacts: a matchbook from the Buffalo Beano Co. with a marijuana leaf picture and a cloth armband with the text 'Free Speech' and 'Lubbock 34' surrounding a red fist. Artifacts date circa 1968-1969 and come from an anti-Vietnam War protest in Lubbock on the Texas Tech campus in which thirty-four individuals were arrested.

Gary L. King was the owner of Buffalo Beano Co. from 1980 until the store's closing in 2004.
