Scope and Contents
Thirty-four books about the Vietnam War donated to the Vietnam Archive by Robert Taylor. The collection includes the following books written by Taylor: The Innocent (3 copies), All We Have Is Now, Revelation and Other Stories, and Whose Eye Is on Which Sparrow?.
Biographical / Historical
Robert Taylor graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Technological College in 1962. He served in the United States Army from 1962-1967 and was promoted to Captain in 1966. From 1963-1966 he was assigned to the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence at the Pentagon. He served at Headquarters, U.S. Army Vietnam on the Intelligence Staff of the Commanding General from September 1966 to September 1967 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal on 4 September 1967. Taylor is currently a free-lance writer and novelist.
