Robert Hall served in Korea as a surgeon with the 23rd Infantry Regiment of the Second Infantry Divsion from January 1951 to July 1952. During this time he was also the commanding officer of the 52nd Medical Battalion. From June 1967 until June 1968, Hall served as the Command Surgeon of the U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam.- 1
