Scope and Contents
Approximately three linear feet of maps, manuals, lectures, notes, study aids and exercises detail James Honea's service in Vietnam as an engineer with the Marine Corps. The materials are mostly war-era materials and are divided into four categories: Engineering, General Files, Legal Issues and Military Issues. Most materials originated from the Basic School, Marine Corps Base (Quantico, Virginia), the Marine Corps Development and Education Command (Quantico, Virginia), or the Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base (Camp LeJeune, North Carolina).
Biographical / Historical
James Honea served with the Marine Corps as an engineer during the Vietnam Conflict. He was stationed at Quantico, Virginia and Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
