Captain Ronald St John (USA, Retired), was born in 1943 in Illinois and entered the U.S. Army following obtaining a Ph.D in International Relations on June 6, 1965. Captain St John was called to active duty in October of 1969 and was sent to Vietnam. While in Vietnam St John served as a Motivation and Indoctrination Advisor to Viet Cong detainees at Con Son Island. St John also served as a Topograpic Engineer who tracked the national level activities of the Viet Cong infrastructure. St. John was released from active duty in July of 1971, serving in the National Guard until 1974.- 1
