Scope and Contents
Tunnel detection and neutralization documents, book catalogues, scholarly papers, a bibliography of Vietnam-related books, periodicals (1960s-present) and 155 books on Vietnam, all of which were collected by Sandra Marie Wittman, document different aspects of the Vietnam Conflict and its legacies.Biographical / Historical
Sandra Marie Wittman earned her Bachelors of Education Degree in 1965 at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. She then attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and the Dominican University (Rosary College) in River Forest, Illinois to obtain her MALS in 1975. She then became a professor at Oakton Community College and later an English teacher at two different Wisconsin high schools. She is the author of Writing About Vietnam: A Bibliography of the Literature of the Vietnam Conflict (G.K. Hall, 1989) and a contributor to The Encyclopedia of the Vietnam War: A Political, Social and Miliary History , edited by Spencer C. Tucker (ABC-Clio, 1998).- 137
