Scope and Contents

Approximately one and a half linear feet of books, Vietnamese periodicals, Vietnamese language publications and articles, Vietnamese Communist Party documents, and English translations of these publications on CD-ROM translated by Merle Pribbenow document his interest in and collection and translations of Vietnamese Communist periodicals and documents. The CD-ROM contains Pribbenow's translations of most of the articles and documents within his manuscript collection. Materials date from both the war and post-war period and are in fair to good shape. rticles written in the 13 and 15 editions of Quan Doi Nhan Dan translated by Merle Pribbenow concern the North Vietnamese perspective on the Plei Me Campaign and the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley from 19 October to 20 November 1965.
