Scope and Contents
Less than one linear foot of photograph negatives, maps, CD-ROMs, audio reels, published articles, correspondence and other documents detail General Theodore Mataxis, Sr.'s service in Vietnam, 1964-1965. Documents include articles written by Mataxis on the war in the highlands and Tet 1965, a transcript of an interview with Mataxis conducted by Captain Cash of the US Army Center for Military History at the Pentagon in 1967 and a letter from a company political cadre to a battalion political officer, which was found on a Viet Cong soldier. Documents date from 1960s through 1990s. Negatives and audio reels date 1964-1965.- 1
