CD-ROM containing photographs from Dennis Frenchy Proulx's service with the 6th Battalion, 14th Artillery Regiment , I Field Force, Vietnam, in Kontum in the Central Highlands from February to October 1970, and then with the 1st Air Cavbalry Division from November 1970 to April 1971.
Biographical / Historical
Dennis ^D<'Frenchy^D>' Proulx was born on 3 January 1950. In 1969, he was drafted into the United States Army, in which he served a total of 19 months. Fourteen months of this time was spent in Southeast Asia, where Proulx served first with the 6th Battalion, 14th Artillery, 1st Field Forces, February - October 1970, then with the 1st Battalion, 21st Artillery, 1st Air Cavalry Division, November - April 1970. Ranked first as an E-2 upon arrival in Vietnam, Proulx was promoted to E-5 (Specialist 5) upon his departure and served as a Cannoneer and a Fire Direction Control (FDC), stationed at Kontum, Central Highlands, Republic of Vietnam, II Corps and ^D<'War Zone D^D>' in III Corps.
