Scope and Contents
A CD-Rom and DVD-Rom copy of photographs taken by Gregory Fearon, titled 'Children of Vietnam War', documents the effects of the war on children.
Biographical / Historical
Gregory Fearon was born on 28 February 1948. In 1966, Fearon volunteered for the United States Air Force, beginning a total of four years of service. By April 1967, Fearon had completed his basic training and inventory management training at Amarillo Air Force Base (AFB) and Lackland AFB and joined the 33rd Tactical Air Control Group (TAC), stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida. On 4 August 1969, Fearon was transferred to the 22nd Tactical Air Support Squadron (TASS), stationed at Bien Hoa AFB, Vietnam. He served there until 4 August 1970 as an E-4 Inventory Management Supervisor, when he was released from active duty.
