Scope and Contents
The Conferences Collection includes materials related to two conferences on the Vietnam War: On Winning and Losing: A Reexamination of the Summers Thesis and the Vietnam War, Texas Tech University, March 31-April 1, 1995; Conference for High School Teachers, Texas Tech University, June 11-13, 1998; It also includes information on an event: Parade '98: Vietnam Remembered, Wellington, New Zealand, May 29-June 1, 1998, and the Vietnam War Symposium at the University of Houston, November 12-13, 1999. The materials for the On Winning and Losing conference consist of papers delivered at a roundtable discussion. Those for the Conference for High School Teachers consist of items handed out to the participants, and those for the Parade '98 event consist of sections of New Zealand newspapers with articles on the event.
