Scope and Contents

Less than one linear foot of letters from American soldiers to Omarie Kinman (now Omarie Kinser) document their responses to cards that she sent them while she attended seventh grade at Pat Neff Junior High School in San Antonio, Texas, 1969. The first document in the collection provides some background from Kinman about the project. All of the letters date from either 1969 or 1970.
