Biographical / Historical
Colonel Joe E. Gray joined the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Benning, Georgia in mid 1965. He was then assigned to Delta Company, 229th Aviation Battalion and arrived at Qui Nhon, Vietnam on 13 Sept 1965.
