Less than one linear foot of audio reels contain audio letters written home by Ernie Miller during his tour of duty in Vietnam from 1966-1967.
Biographical / Historical
Ernie Miller of Circleville, Kansas was born on June 27, 1939. Miller enlisted in the army in 1964 and served a total of thirteen years, including years in the reserve (June 1956-1964), one year in Korea, and one year in Vietnam. He was a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam and was stationed in the delta by the town of Soc Trang with the 121st Assault Helicopter Co. supporting the 21st ARVN division. Miller started as Private First Class and became a SP 4. A biographical questionnaire of Miller can be found in his collection file.
