Louise Marie Catherine Doherty is the National Teacher/Coordinator of Operation Moonshot: An American and Vietnamese Journey from War to Peace to Space, a project that began in 1996 to facilitate reconciliation and cooperation between American and Vietnamese veterans, writers, diplomats, pilots, space explorers, and citizens in general. One of the activities of the group is to coordinate visits by Vietnamese to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
