Rowland D. Mower was born on December 25, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant Utah. He served in the united States Navy from 1945-1948 and in the United States Air Force from 1955-1974. He served for a tour in Vietnam from December 1967-December 1968 as a Scatback pilot with the 7th Air Force Flight Operations. He was also a faculty advisor for the National Defense College from May 1968-December 1968.- 1
