Biographical / Historical
Born in Newark, NJ, 1930. Volunteered for Army in 1951. Major, 22 years of service. 48AHC 1966-1967, 1 FFV FLT. DET. 1967. Gunship Platoon Leader 48th Operations Officer 1 FFV. Stationed in Tuy Hoa, Nha Trang. The 48th supported the 101st ARVN, ROIC all over the 1 FFV in numerous operations. Received 13 medals, including an Army commendation Medal. Retired in 1972. Rank at discharge at LTC. Member and current President of the VHPA (2009). After retiring from the miilitary he taught for 20 years.
