Approximately seven linear feet of memorabilia collected from members of the 174th Assault Helicopter Company including reunion material, correspondence, photo albums, VHS tapes, and artifacts document the activities of the 174th Assault Helicopter company during the Vietnam War.Biographical / Historical
The 174th Assault Helicopter Company was formed at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1965 and was deployed to Vietnam from 1966-1971. The 174th flew several different UH-1 Huey models and was stationed at Qui Nhon (1966), Duc Pho (1967-1970), and Chu Lai (1971).- 1
