CD-ROM contains Bob Leahy's memoir of his service in Vietnam as an infantry point man titled 'Just Another Day in Paradise: My Life in the Infantry During the Vietnam War.'
Biographical / Historical
Bob Leahy was born in 1948 in New York City, New York. He volunteered for service in the United States Army. Leahy did nineteen months active duty with fourteen months in Southeast Asia. In Vietnam, he was assigned to D 4/21 Infantry, 11th Brigade from April 1969 to November 1969 then to B 3/82 Artillery from Nov 1969 to May 27, 1970 where his positions included infantry point man, infantry squad leader, and artilleryman. At his discharge he obtained the rank of Specialist.
