Biographical / Historical

Clifford Miller was born in New York City, New York in 1944. Miller was drafted into the United States Army in 1968. He did two years of active duty service with one of those years in Southeast Asia. Miller was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Mechanized and the 25th Infantry Division. He held the positions of squad leader and platoon leader while stationed with III Corp in Cu Chi, Dau Tieng, and TayNinh. Through his service, Miller held the ranks of Sergeant and Staff Sergeant. He participated in Operation Nutcracker and the Invasion of Cambodia while in Vietnam. For his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star and Commendation Medal. Miller was discharged in 1970 at the pay grade of E-6. He is involved with two Vietnam Veteran Associations including the 5th Infantry Chapter and 25th Infantry Division Association. Miller currently is a Realtor and a successful salesman.
