Biographical / Historical
Larry Chambers was born in 1947 at Santa Paula, CA. He volunteered for service in the U.S. Army in 1968. He spent two years in Southeast Asia, at Hue, Vietnam, first with F Company 58th Infantry (LRP), 101st Airborne Division, September-December 1968, and then with L Company 75th Rangers, 101st Airborne Division, 1969. He worked as a point man, a scout, and a team leader, holding the rank of Sergeant throughout this period. Chambers, ultimately served a total of six years in the Army.
