Biographical / Historical

Robert Noble was born in 1945 in New York City, NY. He volunteered for service in the U.S. Army, and spent three years in the military in Vietnam. He was stationed at Puolo Cici, and also in the DMZ. Noble served with the 128th Assault Helicopter Company from 1965 to 1967, and with the Studies Observation Group in 1967. He was involved in several campaigns in the DMZ between 1965 and 1967 and received 17 Air Medals and a Purple Heart. Noble was discharged with the rank of E-5 in 1967. Following his military service, Noble worked with Air America from 1968 to 1974 in Southeast Asia.
