Scope and Contents
Less than a quarter of a linear foot of documents, publications, newspapers, programs, and photographs documenting Stuart Koch's service in Vietnam as the protocol officer for General William W. Momyer from 1967 to 1968. Documents include rosters of Air Force General Officers and key personnel, memos about protocol procedures and various official visits, as well as some pamphlets about religions in Vietnam and the Cao Dai. The photographs show various dignitaries and Saigon after the attacks of the Tet Offensive.Biographical / Historical
Stuart Koch was born on February 18, 1937. He volunteered for the U.S. Air Force on June 18, 1955. Mr. Koch served for 20 years, 18 months of which were spent in Southeast Asia where he held the rank of Captain as a Protocol Officer. He retired on August 4, 1975 at the rank of Major. After his service in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Reynolds worked in small engine sales.- 1
