Biographical / Historical
Born in 1941 in Oak Park, Illinois, Earl Gorman volunteered for the United States Marine Corp in 1964 and served for four (4) years. After training, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Division as an Artillery Officer and later as a Battalion Liaison Officer. Earl Gorman saw combat while earning multiple medals, ribbons and commendations (including the Purple Heart) before being discharged in 1968 with the rank of Captain. After Vietnam, he returned to Law School where he earned a degree.
