Scope and Contents

Paper copies and electronic files of a comprehensive list of Fire Support Bases (FSB) and Landing Zones (LZ) used in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. This list is part of William Kindred's GoogleEarth map he created to represent all of the locations used by the U.S. during the Vietnam War, and includes some ally unit locations. The list is alphabetic by the name of the location with corresponding latitude-longitude and U.S. Army 1:50000 grid zone coordinates and map numbers, and other information such as the designation of units which used the location, date(s) it was used, and operation names.
