372 slides taken by William Dennison showing his time as the executive officer of the 261st Signal Company stations at Phu Hiep, Tuy Hoa, and Vung Ro Mountain. The slides date from September 1970 to August 1971.
Biographical / Historical
Born in 1947 in Washington, D.C., William Dennison volunteered for the United States Army in 1969 through the ROTC program and served for three (3) years. After training, he was assigned to the 261st Signal Company with the rank of 1st Lt. and an MOS of Operations Officer and Company Executive Officer. He was stationed at Phu Heip and later at Tuy Hoa, Vietnam. William Dennison earned multiple medals, ribbons, and commendations (including the Bronze Star) before being discharged in 1971. After Vietnam, he entered into private business.
