Less than one linear foot of one book, correspondence, an oral history and personal resume, and military briefings on Vinh Long Province and Vietnamese villages document Ronald Tausch's service with the US Army in IV Corps during the Vietnam Conflict, November 1962 - July 1975. The correspondence and military publications are war era, while the book, oral history and resume are all post-war era.
Biographical / Historical
Roland Tausch (New Braunfels, Texas) entered into service in July 1946 with Armor-United States Army. He began Vietnam duty on November 1962 through March 1963 with IV Corps, Can Tho; from April 1963 until December 1963 with Special Sector, Hai Yen, Ca Mau, 21st ARVN. Div. Zone; and January 1969 to July 1970 with IV Corps Vinh Long Province. Tausch retired from service with the United States Army on July 31, 1975.
