One document donated to the archive by Michael W. Hoke. The document is titled 'Statement of the South Vietnam Liberation National Front as Regards the Situation in South Vietnam Following the Nov. 1, 1963 Coup D'etat' published by Foreign Languages Publishing in November 1963. The donor received this document while he was serving on Advisory Team 38 in Bao Loc, Lam Dong province.
Biographical / Historical
Michael Hoke served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Hoke served with the 145th Aviation Battalion as a telephone repair technician and as a Huey doorgunner, as well as with MACV Advisory Team 38 in his first tour, September 1963 through October 1964. Hoke returned to Vietnam to serve with the 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in his second tour from October 1965 to February 1966.
