Twelve photographs taken by Clarence Lawrence during his service in Vietnam from February 1969 through February 1970. He served at Long Binh and held an MOS of Supply Sergeant and was later promoted to Master Sergeant
Biographical / Historical
Born in 1929 in Scotlandville, LA, Clarence Lawrence volunteered for the United States Army in 1950 and served over twenty five (25) years. While in Vietnam during the years of 1969 and 1970 he held an MOS of Supply Sergeant and was later promoted to Master Sergeant. He earned multiple medals, ribbons and commendations before retiring in 1976. After the military Clarence Lawrence served as a Deputy Sherriff in the East Baton Rouge Parish Sherriff’s office.
