Biographical / Historical
Born in 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, Lee Ellsworth was drafted into the United States Army and served two (2) years. He was assigned to Co. D, 19th Engineers Battalion where he was stationed at Bu Prang and Phan Tiet, Vietnam. Between 1968 and 1970, Lee Ellsworth was promoted several times and held the rank of E5 when he was discharged in 1970. During his tour of duty, Lee Ellsworth earned multiple medals, ribbons and commendations. After the military, Lee worked at the main Dodge Factory as a pipe fitter before passing away. He was a member of the 19th Engineers Battalion, Co D group on Facebook.
