Biographical / Historical
Dennis Coyne was born on December 15, 1943. A member of the ROTC, he was commissioned on June 6, 1967. 2nd Lt. Coyne served in the Central Highlands of Vietnam from May 1968 through May 1969 as a communications intelligence officer with the 374th Radio Research Company (attached to the 4th Infantry Division), and was promoted to 1st Lt. in October 1968. After leaving the US Army in October 1969, Coyne served 26 years in the Army Reserve.
