Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two books written by US Air Force Master Sergeant Steve Crews, a digital copy of one of the books, and a video recording of an interview with Crews conducted by the Witness to War Foundation. The materials are dated 2012 and 2014.
Biographical / Historical
US Air Force Master Sergeant Steve Crews served with Detachment 5, 8th Aerial Port Squadron at Bien Hoa Air Base, Vietnam from October 1971 to October 1972. While on an 89 day Temporary Duty Assignment to Tan Son Nhut Air Base (across the road from MACV Headquarters), he lived in and travelled around Saigon and its suburb Cholon.
