Biographical / Historical

Born in 1946, Patrick Guy worked for the Continental Can Company before being drafted in 1968. After eight weeks in basic training at Fort Campbell, Kentucky he studied advanced infantry training at Fort Lewis, Washington before serving 1969 in South Vietnam. He concluded his military career with the Third Infantry Division guarding the Czechoslovak border in Germany in 1970.

After the military, Guy completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and a Master of Science degree from Southeastern University in Washington, DC. For the next 25 years, he served in the Federal Service.
