Scope and Contents
The collection consists of less than a quarter of a linear foot of textual records and photographs documenting Robert Ford's service in Vietnam with the US Air Force in 1967. The textual records include a propaganda pamphlet; a letter from USAF Commander Colonel Robert Embery congratulating Ford on his retirement from the Air Force; and a certificate from President Bill Clinton in memory of Ford. The materials are dated 1967, 1970 or are otherwise undated.
Biographical / Historical
Robert Thomas Ford served in the US Air Force from March 29, 1950 to June 30, 1970. He passed away in 1997.
