Scope and Contents

The collection consists of approximately 1.5 linear feet of army aviation training materials accumulated by Ralph Staunton. The materials include army field manuals; army technical manuals; army pamphlets; army special texts; training course workbooks/handouts/programmed texts; a Fort Wolters guide and directory; reference books; and the roster for Warrant Officer Rotary Wing Aviator Class 71-1 from Fort Rucker, AL. The materials include airmanship training materials (128 hour curriculum for all students), warrant officer development training materials (91 hour curriculum for WOC students), and officer development training materials (27 hour curriculum for officer students). The materials are dated 1959 and 1963-1977.
