Scope and Contents

Approximately eight linear feet of books, photographs, slides, posters, museum artifacts, CD-ROMs, audio recordings, newsletters, periodicals, and various other research materials document various topics associated with the Vietnam Conflict and its aftermath. All of the materials were collected by George Jay Veith and are primarily concerned with POW/MIAs in Southeast Asia. The documents include correspondence between American embassies abroad and the Departments of State and Defense, CIA Intelligence reports, newspaper and magazine articles, CHECO reports, book excerpts, and oral history interviews.
